NGOD-362 A negative legacy of the bubble era: Lured by the low price, I bought a dirt-cheap condo in a resort area, only to be bullied by the local, frumpy, lecherous old men—and have my wife cuckolded and impregnated by them... — Rin Ouka

It was a resort property in a vacation community developed during the bubble era—a place sometimes derisively labeled a "burden asset." "Apparently, this place cost over a hundred million yen back then," the salaryman husband remarked happily, undeterred by his long commute. "To think we could move in for such a bargain... We really made the right call listening to the real estate agent." His wife, however, looked slightly dissatisfied. The truth was, the community was a bizarre and stifling place where the older men of the "management association" kept a prying, exclusionary, and oppressive watch over newcomers.
